<p>The second-year Tourism and Hospitality Management undergraduates of Saegis Campus had a hotel visit to Cinnamon Citadel Kandy along with a scenic train ride from Colombo to Kandy for a unique travel experience on the 7th of January 2025.</p> <p>This visit was organized to offer students first-hand experience in the main operational departments of a hotel chain, with a focus on hygiene, grooming, and Sustainable practices in hotel operation.</p> <p>The Department of Management extends the sincerest appreciation to the Cinnamon Citadel Kandy and Ms. Savani De Alwis, Manager of Human Resources in the Cinnamon Citadel Kandy for facilitating this visit and continuing to support the Department&rsquo;s tourism and hospitality-related initiatives and activities.</p>

<p>World Tourism Day Celebrations 2024 was held on 26th September 2024 at Saegis Campus. This event was organized by the Saegis Tourism Club, Department of Management, Saegis Campus Nugegoda, in collaboration with Canterbury Christ Church University, United Kingdom to honor this year&rsquo;s theme, &ldquo;Tourism and Peace.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Saegis Campus recently celebrated its Graduation Day at the campus premises, honoring the achievements of students who successfully completed their programs. The ceremony was a momentous occasion, recognizing the dedication and hard work of graduates in the fields of Diploma in English and Diploma in Management and Information Technology.</p> <p>Congratulations&nbsp;to all the graduates for their outstanding accomplishments at Saegis Campus!</p>
